3950 Series: 2 Bolt Mortise Lock The 3950 series is a small, sturdy 2 bolt mortise lock. It is easily installed in wooden or metal doors. The steel bolts are hardened to 56-58 HRC to prevent against saw attack. The bolts are automatically deadlocked. The lock is fitted with an 8 pin cruciform cylinder which inhibits picking. The cylinder’s unusually short length allows the working mechanism to be situated well inside the door, unlike conventional cylinders where the mechanism is on the surface.
